• Is it mandatory in Rome to wear the veil?
Rome is an integrated city not fundamentalist! Here, everyone can act by following his/her beliefs, his/her thoughts and his/her wishes.
• Is Rome a dangerous city? May a tourist walk about by night?
Rome is not a dangerous city and you can both walk about and walkabout in every moment of the day!
Just remember that Rome is full of people. So, as for every populous city on earth, if you’re going around with your partner and you see screaming drank people on your way… we think you should change your way!
There are some streets that showed during time an higher crime percentage: San Basilio, Tor Bella Monaca and others. They’re not dangerous zones, but it’s clear you should pay more attention (remember: a Rolex grabs the eye everywhere!).
• Which is the timetable of the public transport?
Metro line A (Anagnina-Battistini)
Both from Anagnina and Battistini:

– Last Run at 23:30 (on Friday and Saturday last run at 01:30)
Metro line B (Laurentina-Rebibbia) and line B1 (Laurentina-Jonio)

• Is it cold?
Weather is quite pleasant and there is a difference about 5/6 C° between day and night.
• I would like to move by bike. Are there zones where I can get one?
M&L cares about sustainable tourism, for this reason when we choose an accommodation we take into account the distances with the touristic services, such as bike and scooter renters. There will be a pleasure for us indicating you the nearest one.
• Are accommodations heated?
Obviously. All accommodations are furnished with heating system, to provide our guests with our warm hospitality.
• I would like to walk in the Rome surroundings and in its Villas. Should I care about encountering dangerous animals like snakes?
Rome hosts the Italian Parliament, so it’s more probable you will encounter snakes in the city center! By the way, you can find snakes in the inner zones of some of the Villas where vegetation grow luxuriant.
• Should I pay attention to the thieves?
Generally, we advise you to pay attention to thieves, and not only in Rome. We care about our guests so we advise them to pay attention even in their own city! We think it is a good habit at all! There are thieve but they recognize attentive people, and avoid them. Thus, attention is the greatest antitheft you will ever have!
• What kind of dresses should I wear?
Rome has a mild climate, and there are beautiful days! Artists from all over the world came here to see the Italian daylight! Obviously, avoiding wearing shorts if you’re coming for the New Year’s Eve is a sign of wisdom! After all, everyone should be free to wear what he/she most like: if you want to wear a surgical mask to make greener your outfit, you can do it!
• Is it true that PM10 in Rome is over the safety level? Should I wear a surgical mask?
Like above, if you believe you that the surgical mask fit you well, it’s up to you! If you want to catch some fresh air, we believe you should enjoy our Villas and our Parks. You will find there all the fresh air your looking for!
• Is it easy for a tourist to find metro and bus tickets?
You can find tickets in every kiosk. And you can find kiosk in every street. So, yes, it is.
• Is the weather brat?
Here you are some practical information:
In 2014, between May and October, there have been 3-4 rainy days, and 25 between October and May.
• Are there many strikes in Rome?
Yes of Course! The strikes are one of the most important touristic attraction of Rome! You will never find in your life a strike as wonderful as in Rome! You will find any kind of Italian : managers, teachers, students. Every italian, went on strike at least once in his/her life. Just check on the labor unions’ websites to schedule your trip! It will be an unforgettable experience!
