M&L Apartment – COVID Free sanitization protocol

In times of restart after the lockdown due to COVID-19, prudence is a must!
To provide the necessary (and mutual) attention to our guests and collaborators, we at M&L Apartment have developed, with the help of hygiene and health experts, a cleaning/sanitization protocol for our holiday apartments in Rome.

COVID Free sanitization protocol

1. Our cleaning staff wears personal protective equipment – gloves, gowns, masks – during cleaning, washing hands thoroughly before putting on gloves and immediately after removing them.

2. Rooms and premises are always aired before cleaning, opening doors and windows to increase air circulation before starting to clean and sanitize.

3. First the cleaning is carried out, using common detergents to remove dirt, dust and germs, then the sanitization is carried out: after cleaning a surface (e.g. light switches, door knobs, remote controls, tap mixers, etc.), a disinfectant is sprayed on top, a detergent solution with household bleach diluted with at least 70% alcohol, left to act for a few minutes, then removed with absorbent paper or disposable wipes.

4. All linen is washed at the maximum possible temperature by a specialized company. The rubbish bins are emptied and the rubbish bags changed.

5. At the end of the cleaning, the personal protective devices used and thrown away or washed are immediately removed, as appropriate (whether disposable or not).

M&L Apartment also offers disinfectants and other cleaning products to its guests.
Our staff does its part, we are sure that our guests will do theirs.
